My name is Bob Jencks and I live and work on the Front Range of Colorado. I have spent most of my life gaining considerable knowledge and experience as a custom woodworker, metalworker, carpenter, general contractor, and artist. In order to utilize these talents, I have created The Rift Song Workshop.

The Rift Song Workshop focuses on both creating and managing custom wood and metalworking projects, from concept and design through fabrication, delivery, installation and follow up.

My goal is to provide the highest quality, interesting, and intentional work within the proposed timeline and budget.

Past projects include custom doors, mantels, commercial and residential bar and vanity tops, floating stairs, shelves, acoustic room treatments, absorbers and diffusors, dining room tables, desks, entryway benches, bookshelves, other furniture, and on and on. You bring the vision, I will build it.

As well as the wood and metal shops, I have extensive experience in commercial and residential construction. I understand how my work and timeline affect those around me, and always do my best to meet delivery dates without sacrificed quality.

While I’m at it, I enjoy filming the small moments of artistry that come with working in a shop and putting together short videos for education and entertainments sake. These shorts also allow me to share the production experiences on-line with clients, who seem to enjoy the opportunity.

This site is rather new, and I’d really rather be in the shop so there isn’t a lot here, but do check back for more projects and things I’m working on.
